Age of marriage

This line graph shows the age of marriage in the United States from 1900 to 2000. Most men and women get married after 25 years old in the 2000.

In 1990 both genders had a drop in marriage age in the 1920s. Men started to be constant in marriage age (24) from 1930 to 1940. In contrast, woman goes up to reach 21 years old of marriage age until 1940. Both sexes had a drop from 1940 to 1950. For the next ten year men stayed constant of marriage age under 23 years old. However, in same period women had huge drop to reach near 20 years old of marriage age. After 1970 men and women goes up until women reach 25 years old of marriage age time and men reach to 26 years old of marriage age in 2000.
